2018: The prestigious African Union (AU) Kwame Nkrumah award has been presented to Professor Robert Millar in recognition of his outstanding contribution to science.
2017: The prestigious Harry Oppenheimer Fellowship was presented to University of Pretoria (UP) and University of Cape Town (UCT) faculty member Professor Robert Millar on Friday, 2 June, for his work in neuroendocrinology.
2016: In light of his highly distinguished multidisciplinary contributions to the furtherance of science, Professor Robert Millar was awarded the 2016 John FW Herschel Medal.
